Hello, we’re Foodbank Victoria. <\/h3>

Whether it\u2019s everyday emergencies or in times of crisis, we’ve been providing vital food relief to vulnerable Victorians for over 95 years. <\/p>

Through our network of over 1,200 schools and nearly 500 charities right across Victoria, we\u2019ve distributed over 25 million meals in the last 12 months alone. Right now, we\u2019re feeding 69,000 people every single day. <\/b> <\/p>

You could say we\u2019re the fridge and pantry for some of Victoria’s most trusted charities \u2013 including the Salvation Army and Vinnies \u2013 working together to support those who need us most. <\/p>

We’re also out on the road every week, so we can reach people in need directly with our fresh food markets and mobile supermarket buses. These programs mean families can come and collect enough fresh produce for an entire week \u2013 for free \u2013 allowing us to reach disadvantaged communities in each and every corner of Victoria. Our Community Food Centres in Ballarat and Morwell are also essential to making this possible, providing the critical missing link between Foodbank\u2019s supply of healthy food, the work of our local charity partners, and those needing food relief throughout regional Victoria. <\/p>

We believe that all Victorians should have regular access to healthy, culturally appropriate food. That\u2019s why we work hand-in-hand with partners right across the food and grocery sector \u2013 from farmers and growers, right through to retailers \u2013 to source, rescue and purchase essential food and grocery items to help nourish our communities. <\/p>

While supporting schools and charities across our network is at the heart of what we do, we\u2019re also here when disaster strikes, as the state\u2019s dedicated emergency food relief organisation. In times of crisis \u2013 whether it\u2019s a bushfire, flood or pandemic \u2013 you can count on us to be here to help Victoria. <\/p>

And we couldn\u2019t do any of this without the support of our community. Every dollar donated is two meals created.\n<\/b> <\/p>
