Terri L. Mason, M.Ed.
Terri Liles Mason is a sacred music artist and a teacher of meditation & evolving consciousness. She began singing & writing songs in 2006 after spending 72 hours chanting sacred mantras. She wrote her first song, Ancient Mother, Beloved Children, within days of returning. It appears on Om Gaia, her first album, which she recorded with Grammy nominated artist Paul Avgerinos. Terri debuted Om Gaia at Earth Day NY.
Om Gaia soared to the top of the NAR World Radio Chart soon after its release, holding the #4 spot in for two months and is playing on over 130 radio stations around the world. Internationally acclaimed, it held the #1 spot for almost a year on the New Age Chart on Indie-Music.com.
Terri was nominated for Best New Artist, and Om Gaia nominated as Best Vocal Album and Best Relaxation/Meditation Album for by worldwide broadcasters on ZoneReporter.com. In July of 2010, Om Gaia held the #2 spot on the International Top Ten list as cited by the International Association of Independent Recording Artists, and Terri was awarded an ASCAP Plus award for two years in a row.
Women’s Radio Network recently featured Terri & Om GAIA in an interview called “Mother Earth Sings” where she was sited for creating music to empower women’s voices. Terri is currently touring with Om Gaia events called “Music for the Earth”.
In addition, she is the founder & director of the Om Gaia Center for Meditation and Evolving Consciousness, which offers meditation & consciousness training seminars. Her teachings focus on Universal principles. She draws her inspiration from varied spiritual sources, including her own Native American lineage. She is dedicated to honoring & celebrating the sacred feminine and Mother Earth. Her music is an expansion of her work.
Terri is a graduate of the University of Texas, holding a master’s degree. Her life path has included working in the education and publishing industries, before starting her spiritual journey. She brings her unique personal insight, sense of humor and vast expertise of all things cosmic into all she does.
